STEP Roof Deicing™ operates on 24 volts and is normally connected to a power supply, but it can also be run on solar or wind power. STEP Roof Deicing™ is a durable, yet thin (3/64") element. This 12", 9" or 3" wide element is made of a homogeneous, semi-conductive polymer, which by nature is self-regulating.
