STEP 9" (22.9 cm) wide radiant heating element is designed for areas that require more narrow elements, 9” instead of 12” (30 cm) due to available width.
STEP 9” (23 cm) has a higher wattage than STEP Residential™; the heat output is equivalent to STEP Commercial™.
This element is installed in applications that require more heat output due to a higher heat loss, e.g. on stairs, in tub edges, in shower benches, etc. This radiant heating element can also be installed under the subfloor when spacing between joists is too narrow.
