STEP Warmfloor® Newsletter: Spring 2013

New Liner Resistant to Water and Chemicals

For the past 30 years, STEP Warmfloor® has maintained electronics working in the Antarctic, de-iced tugboats in Alaska, and heated houses all over from Norway to Ushuaia. Our product was resistant to either water or chemicals. Now, it’s resistant to both. We introduced a new liner to add to our STEP Warmfloor® heating elements to resist water and chemical damage, so that they are better protected in all types of installations.

We also made the heating elements more attractive and recognizable by using a printed liner with the STEP® logo. This will make it very easy to recognize the original STEP Warmfloor® should anyone try to sell you something else.

New Liner

Our new product comes after years of feedback from you all. A product or system has to include all the components, has to be simple to install for the contractor and easy to use for the end-user. We listen to our distributors, resellers, contractors and end users to learn from them what works and what needs to be improved. This is how we can offer our customers the best product and most efficient installation for their application.

STEP3 We are always looking of ways to improve our heating elements, our transformers and our controls. Please continue to contact us with your comments and success stories.

Speaking of sharing… help us help you. We’ve joined Facebook, Pinterest, YouTube and started a blog so we can spread the word across the World Wide Web about STEP Warmfloor. And we want your help.

We joined these social networks to help get our name out there more, and we want your help. If you or your company is already out there, go and like us on Facebook, pin our pictures on Pinterest, and follow our blog. And in return, we will do the same.

Don’t worry, we’re not trying to sell directly to the consumer. Our marketing and delivery strategy continues to be manufacturer-to-distributor. And the more we link to each other, not only do we increase our online presence, this link-building actually boosts our rankings in search engines. When Google can find us, our customers find us.

Our YouTube channel features some installation videos. Soon, our episodes from DIYnet will be online (hopefully this fall), and we will link to those as well.

So please find us and follow us, and we will follow you right back. If you’re not on any of these sites, email us your stories and pictures, and we will get the word out for you.

STEP Roof Deicing Distribution

When it comes to ice melting systems for roofs and gutters, STEP Warmfloor® has developed the most versatile and energy efficient system on the market today. Although the systems work great, special skills and experience are required to give roofers the confidence necessary to install our system. Warmzone has this knowledge and experience, and have been selling our deicing systems with great success for some time now. Their positive results have led us to appoint them as our distribution agent in the United States for all roof deicing applications, and from this point on, all roof deicing orders will be designed by Warmzone. We feel this arrangement will benefit all parties involved.
