Title: Concrete Slab Insulation Post by: Eric V on September 07, 2008, 09:40:10 AM I will be installing warmfloor over a large area in a basement (wetbar, entertainment area, bathroom).
What do you recommend for insulation between the heating elements and the concrete slab? I prefer something thin (1/4"), available, and economical. The heating elements will either be covered by ceramic or slate tiles. Are there any advantages/disadvantages to either slate or ceramic tile when used with Step Warmfloor?
